Royal Mail is celebrating British video game legacy with a new stamp collection

The British Royal Mail is immortalising classic video games with a set of new stamps.

The Royal Mail is introducing 12 new stamps that feature games and characters created in Britain. Some of the names on the list include Tomb Raider, Lemmings, Elite, Wipeout and Sensible Soccer.

The focus of this particular batch is on 80s and 90s classics.

The new stamps are available as a set of 12 for £14.25, but you can also buy just eight for £8.9. The first set includes four immortalising Lara Croft's various iterations.

If you opt for the full set, you'll also receive leaflets with a brief history of each of the chosen games. All of the newly announced stamps will be available beginning January 21, and you pre-order now through the official site.
